Relive your childhood at "Growing Up in Edina: A Show and Tell Exhibit." The year-long exhibit opens Saturday, Oct. 29, with a free party for all ages. Bring the kids or your old neighborhood gang for a mini-reunion as you stroll down memory lane and see such artifacts as a "chug" (go cart) from the 1950s, a "slam shirt" from the 1970s, photos from such childhood haunts as Queen Anne Kiddieland and Clancy's Toyland, and much more.
Doors open at 1 p.m. A short program will begin at 4 p.m., featuring children's picture book author Nancy Carlson and other "former children," who will talk about growing up in Edina.
Light refreshments, including freshly popped popcorn provided by the Lions Club, will be served.
