Spookarama! Family Concert

Spookarama!  A family concert of wonderfully spooky classics for this Halloween weekend.  The Golden Valley Orchestra, conducted by John Hoffacker, presents Peter Schickele’s “The Chenoo Who Stayed to Dinner” (a Canadian Native American legend of a big, hairy, scary monster who discovers his inner grandfather, narrated by Michael Pearce Donley), Guilmant’s 1st Symphony (Donald Livingston, organ), Mozart’s “Overture to Don Giovanni,” Grieg’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King.”
