Author Susan Hira signs books and talks about self publishing in Bloomington Theatre & Art Center Writers’ Festival and Book Fair

MINNEAPOLIS (March 16, 2012)—Bloomington, Minn. resident and author, Susan Hira, will sign books and share tips for successful self publishing strategies at the Bloomington Theatre and Art Center Writer’s Festival and Book Fair, Bloomington, Minn. on March 24, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for young adult ski and snowboarding enthusiasts to meet the author of a new fiction novel, The Werwolf on Eagle’s Nest Mountain” (ISBN 1461169879), which tells a mysterious story about the thrill and excitement of one of Minnesota’s greatest winter sports and a group of friends who love to hit the slopes.

The Book Fair—FREE and open to the public: The Book Fair is a great place to meet fresh, exciting local authors, such as Susan Hira who writes books for young adults. Ms. Hira will be available to discuss how she wrote her book, the self publishing process, other facets of writing and publishing that may authors are reluctant to share. In “The Werwolf on Eagle’s Nest Mountain,” Susan Hira places the fictional daughter of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun high up in the mountains of a Minnesota ski resort. Written for middle school students to young adults, this fictional novel adds a dramatic twist on history. The book begins in a wild trail of twists and turns which continue to the last page. The kids must solve a dangerous WWII mystery on a school ski & snowboard trip—or their electrifying ride down the mountain will be their last!
