CareNextion, powered by Senior Community Services, is a free, online tool for older adults and their caregivers. By creating a “Care Team,” you can privately manage your care receiver’s schedule and conveniently coordinate care tasks with other family members and friends. You can also keep a journal of recent events about the person receiving care. It’s a great way to stay organized, and reduces the need to make repetitive phone calls when seeking help from your caregiving network of friends and family. You will also find listings of local resources and be able to have your questions answered by phone. Setting up a “Care Team” is a quick and easy process at www.carenextion.org. Or, if you prefer, call Krystal, social worker with the Edina Senior Center, at 952-746-4028 for help in setting up your “Care Team.”
