Football Friday: Hornets Look to Spoil Minnetonka's Homecoming
The Edina football team faces unbeaten Minnetonka on the road Friday.

The senior rusher has two games of 100 or more yards and is averaging an impressive 6.0 yards per carry.

—Vinni Letteri (Minnetonka - Kicker)
Was a perfect four-for-four on extra points in last week’s win over Bloomington Jefferson. He comes from an athletic family. His father, Tino Letteri, is a former goalie for the Minnesota Kicks and his grandfather is Lou Nanne, former player, coach and general manager of the North Stars.
HORNETS WIN IF...
They can stay healthy. Quarterback Mark Handberg missed time in the fourth quarter and Nick Rallis was slowed by two separate shoulder injuries. This is their second of five games against top ten ranked teams in Class 5A.
SKIPPERS WIN IF...
They can keep getting outstanding balance. Six different players scored in their win last Friday. They have outscored their opponents 95-0 this season.
