GALLERY: Artists Showcase Work at Edina Art Fair
Artists from far and wide displayed their craft at the 2011 art fair.
Artists from as far away as Hawaii in the U.S. and Israel, internationally, descended upon downtown Edina for the 45th annual over the weekend. With temperatures in the 80's and clear sunny skies, large crowds of people were on hand to browse artists' work —including everything from photography and sculpture to mixed media and jewelry.
"Business this year has been really good," said artist Frank Barr, who was selling Faerie Houses made of ceramics and copper. Barr, of Edina, did not have to travel far to sell his creations, which he makes with his wife Bell. It was the 13th year the couple have been exhibiting at the art fair.
