Brittany Bingham (Edina) — One of the team captains, Bingham looks to bring experience and leadership to the first conference game, against the Royals. Bingham has scored in all of the games she has played in thus far.
DeYoung, Jillaine (Hopkins) — Only a sophomore, Jillaine already has found the back of the net twice in the first three games of the season.
ROYALS WIN IF...
They capitalize on corner kicks. Hopkins has had numerous corner kick scoring opportunities this year, but have only scored off of them a few times.
HORNETS WIN IF...
The triple threat of Brittany Bingham, Lara Boman and Hailey Merrill can create scoring chances. These three have scored 11 out of the total 13 goals scored this year by the Hornets.
