It took just one score for eighth-ranked Eden Prairie to down second-ranked Edina, 1-0, in a Lake Conference battle to start Tuesday night.

Boys Soccer
A 5-1 loss to visiting Eden Prairie was the first defeat of the season for the Edina boys soccer team in Tuesday's nightcap.
Heading into the game, Jens Undlin led the Hornets with nine goals, with Evan Panken logging four goals heading into Tuesday.
The squad plays at Wayzata at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Volleyball
Following soccer's suit, the Edina volleyball team lost in a three-game sweep (25-16, 25-22, 25-14) against visiting Eden Prairie on Tuesday. Individual statistics were not made available.
