Kids and Chiropractic | Eden Prairie Chiropractor

Too often I’m staring at a confused look when talking about the importance of children being checked regularly by a chiropractor. Yet they have a spine, just as adults do. They have a nervous system, just as adults do. They have to deal with stress every day, just as adults do. Why should their care be approached any differently? Do you only change the oil in your old beater vehicle, or in all your vehicles?

Children of every age experience physical, mental, and chemical stress just as adults do. If their body cannot properly adapt to those stressors, subluxation will occur in their spine. This misalignment of their spinal bone places stress on the sensitive nerve tissue in the area and therefore will limit their body’s ability to perform and function to its full potential.

Every moment of everyday your little one is producing new cells which are created and organized by their innate intelligence. This innate intelligence functions via their nervous system. Subluxation creates a traffic jam within their nervous system that the innate intelligence must then overcome. We do not want our children’s nervous system functioning like 494/35W during rush hour! We want every message to be free flowing with little resistance to help them grow big, strong, and healthy.

Chiropractic is simple; it is about living LIFE to the fullest for the longest quantity and quality. I think anyone, of any age, deserves that.
