These are just some of the questions that Edina Public Schools students involved in Knowledge Masters students might be asked at the drop of a pin while participating in the Knowledge Masters Open.

Middle school and high school students at South View, Valley View and Edina High School worked together to answer 200 challenging questions in the December 5th global event, earning points for the speed and accuracy of their answers. Teams tackle topics ranging from fine arts to history to earth science. Unlike typical academic and athletic competitions, the Knowledge Master Open allows teams to compete nationally and internationally from the comfort of their own school. The competition, held annually in the fall and spring, runs on classroom computers and attracts over 3,000 schools and 24,000 students from the U.S. and abroad.
