Edina Police Warn Public To Avoid Area Near York Avenue

EDINA, MN — Police are asking people to avoid part of Edina Friday morning because of a large law enforcement presence.

The Edina Police and Fire Departments said the police activity was happening around 11 a.m. near the 6300 block of York Avenue South.

"AVOID the area until further notice," the department said.

Police did not immediately say what prompted the response. More updates are expected.
