(LIVE VIDEO) Watch Today's Vikings Stadium Hearing
The Senate Local Government and Elections Committee will hear the three bills 30 minutes after the Senate floor session that starts at 10 a.m. today.

The Vikings have one last chance to score before their quest for a new stadium heads into overtime.
NFL officials will be watching as the Senate Local Government and Elections Committee considers three stadium proposals today.
Although the stadium proposal cleared two House committees this month, it stumbled Monday when the House Government Operations and Elections Committee rejected it 9-6.

Rep. Keith Downey (R-Edina) was outspoken against the stadium bill Thursday in a Taxes committee hearing.
"This is a total joke," Downey said, according to a Pioneer Press article.

The Edina legislator went on to say the entire stadium effort led by Gov. Mark Dayton has been "a total sham."
NFL officials have significantly ramped up the pressure to reach an agreement. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is in town to throw his weight behind the proposal.
At today’s hearing, lawmakers will consider three stadium plans:
- An identical proposal to one the same committee tabled in March, possibly with electronic scratch-offs added to provide additional revenue in the event electronic pulltabs fell short.
- A bill that would lend the Vikings $300 million for the stadium, essentially forcing them to pay for the entire project.
- A plan that resurrects the Arden Hills plan and allows a casino to help pay the state share. A 2 percent beverage tax in suburban Ramsey County, subject to a referendum, would cover the local share.
The hearing begins 30 minutes after today’s floor session, which starts at 10 a.m. Check back to watch live video of the proceedings.
