Luke Waits for His Lucky Day
This black lab is available for adoption through Edina-based Secondhand Hounds.
Perhaps another victim of Black Dog Syndrome (which Patch has ), Luke is a black lab with a shining personality who tends to get overlooked due to his dark coat.
Also known as Lucky, this pup came to Edina-Based rescue organization Secondhand Hounds from an animal control facility and is estimated to be 2-3 years old.
Foster mom Erin Broberg said Luke gets along great with dogs of all sizes, including her two chihuahuas, and he loves people as well. Luke is house-trained and crate-trained and chews only on his toys.

Inside, Luke is mellow; outside, he loves to play. An expert communicator, Broberg said he will even find his leash and bring it to you when he wants to go outside. Broberg is only worried about missing him when he’s gone.
“We love having him around and it will be hard to see him go,” Broberg said.
