It was a chilly day in Lakeville, but an ideal one for a run as the Edina finished third in the Apple Jack Invitational on Friday.
However, the Hornets boys team did not return to defend their three consecutive victories in the event.
Piper Bain led the Edina girls with a 10th-place individual finish of 14 minutes, 58.6 seconds, with Stephanie Kohn taking 18th in 15:14.1, Bridgit Loeffelholtz placing 25th in 15:28.9, Molly Kuhs coming in 28th in 15:30.0 and Elaine Rock running to 34th in 15:38.5 to round out the Hornets' scoring.
