(PHOTOS) Thousands Combat Breast Cancer at Southdale
The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure fundraiser launched at the Edina mall Friday Morning.
Thousands of men and women kicked off the annual Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure at Southdale Mall on Friday morning, Aug. 19.
The Twin Cities event was the eighth of its kind for the organization, with similar events in more than 14 cities across the country. It has helped raise tens of millions of dollars to battle breast cancer, as this year approximately 40,000 walkers and runners will take part in one of the national events.
