Police Search Edina Neighborhood After Driver Flees, Abandons Wanted Vehicle

Police asked residents to avoid the area and call 911 if they see anything suspicious.

EDINA, MN — Police in Edina are searching for a driver who fled from officers Wednesday morning and abandoned a wanted vehicle in a residential area, authorities said.

Officers located a vehicle wanted by another local agency around 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Edina Police and Fire Departments.

The vehicle fled from officers and was later found abandoned near Abercrombie Drive and Everett Place, police said.
