Girls, boys soccer teams remain unbeaten with Thursday victories.

The Edina athletic calendar flipped from August to September with the Hornets boys and girls soccer teams both remaining undefeated on the pitch.

Girls Soccer

A 4-2 defeat of Bloomington Jefferson on Thursday boosted the Edina girls soccer team's record to 4-0 on the season.

Brittany Bingham leads the Hornets with five goals and an equal number of assists, while Hailey Merrill has recorded four goals and Vivian Engen has two goals with a pair of assists.

Starting goalkeeper Allie Davis has made 10 saves on 14 shots faced and has one shutout to her name.

Boys Soccer

The Edina boys soccer team engaged in a scoreless tie with Jefferson on Thursday in its first non-victory of the season.

Individual statistics were not available. The Hornets then hosted St. Paul Academy—the No. 6-ranked team in Class A— at 7 p.m. Saturday night.

Girls Tennis

Also remaining undefeated on the year was the Edina girls tennis team, as the on Wednesday. Individual statistics were not available.

Cross-Country

On a very light Labor Day weekend, the Edina cross-country teams ran in a varsity invitational on Saturday morning at Cow Creek Park in Bettendorf, Iowa.
