Woman's Cell Phone Reportedly Stolen During Estate Sale
Police were also dispatched to a number of burglaries in northwest Edina.

Friday, July 20
- Police responded to the 4500 block of Browndale Avenue on a report of property damage. An unknown person damaged some outside light fixtures at a residence, according to police.
- Police responded to the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue South on a report of burglary. An unknown person forced his way into a garage, then stole $20 in cash from an unlocked vehicle inside.
- Police responded to the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue South on a report of property damage and attempted burglary. An unknown person attempted to gain entry into a garage, but was unsuccessful in doing so.
- A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were arrested for theft after employees observed them attempt to steal $77.60 in clothing from the store.
- Police responded to the 400 block of Madison Avenue South on a report of burglary. An unknown person entered a garage and rummaged through a vehicle, but did not appear to have taken anything.

- Police responded to on a report of theft. An unknown person stole a wallet and its contents valued at $100 from a purse while the victim was at the business.
- A 30-year-old Chanhassen man was arrested for 4th degree DWI after his vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of France Avenue and West 76th Street.
- Police responded to on a report of theft. An unidentified person stole a wallet and its contents valued at $230 from a purse while the victim was at the business.
Sunday, July 22
- Police responded to the 400 block of Parklawn Avenue on a report of possible identity theft.
- Police responded to the intersection of Loch Moore Drive and Gleason Road on a report of theft. A victim reported as she set her keys and phone down on a dresser while she went to an estate sale. Upon returning to retrieve the items, she found that an unknown person had stolen the $400 cell phone.
- Police responded to the parking lot at on a report of a found license plate. The plate was valued at $10.
