ā¢ Local product wins women's tackle football national championship (perhamfocus.com) ā A Fergus Falls native, 27-year-old Solveig Lundberg, has become a national champion in womenās tackle football with the Minnesota Vixen, helping defeat the Pittsburgh Passion 42ā14 in Canton. The former Fergus Falls Otters multi-sport standout found a new athletic home and close-knit community in the Vixen, showcasing how womenās football is rapidly growing in Minnesota and beyond.
