Sure, the Korean rapper's Gangnam Style video topped one billion views last week, setting a YouTube record.
But the Minnesota Style parody by Fridley's Luke "Mippey5" Thompson is nearing 800,000 views in a little more than three months.

With 790,225, Minnesota Style is the third-ranking Mippey5 parody, behind Minnesota Gurls (2,310,643 views as of Saturday) and Call Me Maybe (1,217,184 views). A making-of video about Minnesota Style has 17,359 views.
