Fridley City Band Plays Zumbrota Saturday; Back Home in August

The Fridley City Band hits the highway Saturday for the Zumbrota Community Band Festival in Zumbrota, MN.

They'll perform there along with the Fridley German Band and the Roseville Community Band, the Calhoun Isles Band (Minneapolis), the Brio Brass (Twin Cities), and the Bald Eagles (Red Wing). The full concert starts at 11:30 a.m.; the Fridley City Band website lists their performance as 12:30 p.m. The festival finale is all the bands playing together in a mass band performance.

The Fridley City Band performs nearby at Silverwood Regional Park in St. Anthony on Aug. 1 at 6:30 p.m. And on Aug. 13 for the Fridley Historical Society August festival and ball game at 6 p.m.
