Fridley on YouTube: 'Welcome to My Hood'
This new video sendup of a DJ Khaled hip hop hit takes viewers on a tongue-in-cheek tour of Fridley.
Fridley has a starring role in the latest musical parody video from Luke "Mippey5" Thompson and his homeboys and girls, best known for the "Minnesota Gurls" Katy Perry parody that went viral.
"Welcome to My Hood" is a takeoff on a DJ Khaled hiphop track by the same name. (Warning: the original is explicit, while the parody is a mild PG if that.)

Welcome to my hood
We got an extra-friendly city
And if you're from the suburbs, sing it with me
Welcome to my hood

The parody, posted last month on YouTube, is full of in-jokes as well as shots of familiar Fridley locales. How many can you catch? List them below in comments.
