Wedding Invites Billed to Workplace: Fridley Police Blotter for Feb. 3
An ex-employee charged the cost of wedding invitations to the business, according to a compainant.

These are selections of police activity from Feb. 3 provided by the Fridley Police Department.
- A complainant in the 5100 block of East River Road NE reported that a former employee charged wedding invitations to the company and applied for a loan listing the employer as a financial backer, resulting in calls from collection agencies.
- Officers warned noisy occupants of an apartment in the 100 block of Island Park Drive NE to quiet down, then cited them when police were called back again.
- An officer arrested and took a suspect to jail for assault in the 100 block of Island Park Drive NE.
- A complainant reported someone used her credit card at an unknown Holiday gas station after her wallet went missing from her purse in the 8000 block of University Avenue NE.
- Police found no violations during checks for compliance with gambling laws at 10 locations in the City of Fridley.
- An officer confirmed a report of a continuously barking dog in the 900 block of 68th Avenue NE and advised the owner by phone of the ordinance violation.
- No one was hurt in an accident involving a school bus and a passenger car at Star Lane NE and University Service Drive NE, but there was property damage.
- A vehicle got stuck in the snow in the center median in the 8400 block of University Avenue NE.
- Someone broke the driver's side window of a vehicle in the 7300 block of Commerce Lane NE and stole a few items.
- A complainant lost his wallet at Super America on Highway 65.
- A person reported as unwanted in the 800 block of Pandora Drive NE lives there but agreed to leave.
- Someone damaged the flashing at a residence in the 1100 block of Onondaga Street NE.
- An officer arrested and handcuffed a suspect on an Anoka County misdemanor warrant and took the suspect to jail from the 1100 block of Onondaga Way NE.
