Visit a new local resource to learn more about protecting Moore Lake today.

The Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) is pleased to announce that an education station including five signs about topics such as the Moore Lake watershed, raingardens, native plants, and what you can do to protect water quality was completed on Monday this week.  This new local resource is located along West Moore Lake Drive in front of Fridley Middle School's largest raingarden.  The signs are accessible from a public sidewalk.  The RCWD would like to encourage all members of the community to check them out the next time you are in the area.

This project was made possible with support from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's Clean Water Partnership as well as partners such as the City of Fridley and Fridley Middle School.  To learn more about raingardens such as those located at Fridley Middle School, please visit www.bluethumb.org.
