• Former DFL chair gets jail time for deadly Itasca County crash (kstp.com) — A Grand Rapids woman has been sentenced for a 2024 crash that killed a 19‑year‑old man in Itasca County. She received 364 days in jail, five years of supervised probation, annual short jail stays each July 3–5, and community service after pleading to felony criminal vehicular homicide for leaving the scene.
