• 1 dead after utility pole falls on car, starts fire in Hopkins (dailydispatch.com) — A person died Sunday in Hopkins after a utility pole fell onto a car on the 300 block of Blake Road North, sparking a fatal fire and cutting power to about 160 nearby residents. Hopkins police, fire, and Xcel Energy are investigating, and the medical examiner will release the victim's identity later.
