Sebastian Joe’s vs The 100 Foot Banana Split

One of my favorite places in the Twin Cities is Sebastian Joe’s Ice Cream Parlor in Linden Hills.

Where else can you find homemade ice cream every day of the week?

This being said, there is a new church in the Twin Cities that is giving Sebastian Joes a run for its money. Family Church, which meets at the Mann Theatre in Hopkins, is hosting the “Schools Out Celebration” on Saturday th June 8 at 9:00 AM.

The highlight of the celebration will be the 100 Foot Banana Split.  Admittedly 9 AM is early for ice cream, but it’s the first day of summer break. (When you were a kid, didn’t you dream about having a banana split for breakfast?)
