• Alcohol suspected in head-on crash on Highway 8 near Taylors Falls (newsbreak.com) — A 21-year-old Inver Grove Heights man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after allegedly crossing the centerline and causing a head-on crash on Highway 8 near Taylors Falls Monday afternoon. State Patrol investigators suspect alcohol was involved, and the collision shut down the highway for several hours while authorities worked the scene and continued their investigation.
