Kenyon Craft and Vendor Fair Returns for Rose Fest (wanamingomn.com) — Kenyon’s 14th annual Craft and Vendor Fair is set for Saturday, August 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Forest Street, and new vendors are still welcome to sign up. Expect 20–25 booths, plenty of handmade goods, and a chance to support local businesses during Rose Fest.
   

2. Putting it into gear: The Kenyon Truck and Car Show is Coming to Town (wanamingomn.com) — Kenyon’s long-running Truck and Car Show rolls into Forest Street by the VFW on August 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., as part of Rose Fest. Expect more than 100 classic and rare vehicles, hourly $100 cash prizes, and a $500 grand prize, all free to enter for vehicles from 1996 or older. Organizers urge locals to come support businesses and enjoy the show.
   

3. K-W Alumni Golf fundraiser nets $4,000 for football program (southernminn.com) — K-W alumni golfers from classes spanning 1991 to 2025 recently raised $4,000 for the K-W football program during their third annual fundraiser. Creative on-course challenges, alumni volunteers, and food prepared with help from Angie’s Restaurant in Kenyon made the day memorable. Organizers say the event continues to strengthen school spirit while directly supporting today’s players.
   

4. Peek at the Past: August 5 (southernminn.com) — A historical snapshot from August 1976 highlights changes that shaped Kenyon, including teacher resignations and new hires at the Kenyon School Board, a teen representing Kenyon at a state program, and plans for a new medical clinic building. It also notes a local clothing store opening in a remodeled downtown space. These glimpses show how community institutions and services have evolved over time.
