Enjoy a $10 pancake, egg, & sausage breakfast with coffee & juice, half price for kids, hosted by Lake Elmo EAA Chapter 54 (local pilots and aviation buffs) with net proceeds funding youth scholarships to summer aviation camp.
Locally based vintage and homebuilt aircraft will be on display along with a variety of exotic aircraft piloted to the event from around the region. The event will be held in a large new airport maintenance building with some of the large maintenance equipment on display, and with local law enforcement equipment and representation including the county K9 unit, state patrol helicopter and aircraft, and the Life Link helicopter.
Also on display and available for free will donation will be a large variety of aviation related books and aircraft models generously donated by the estates of several civically oriented local pilots. Current year scholarship recipients will be on hand to share photos and stories of their aviation camp experiences from this summer.
