• Betty Boid, 79 (jacksoncountypilot.com) — Family and friends in Lakefield are mourning Betty Beatta Boid, whose daughter and two grandchildren live in town. The longtime Minnesotan, remembered for her faith, quilting, and service as an election judge, died May 25 at age 79. A Celebration of Life visitation is set for June 6 in Jackson, followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery.
