Now that the weather has climbed out of the 30s, I am finally ready to offer my plants for sale, starting Friday the 17th.
I have 30 different varieties of tomatoes. Nearly all are heirloom plants. I also have basil and a beautiful, striped eggplant. If you are interested in which types I have, email me and I will send you the list. I have all colors, shapes and sizes. I have a deep affection for tomatoes, and would be happy to help you select the right ones for not only your taste, but space, growing conditions, etc.

I make bluebird houses as a hobby and paint them white to keep them cooler in the summer and make them last a few years longer. They are the Peterson Bluebird House design which provides ventilation, drainage, easy cleaning access and easy mounting on either a steel or wooden post. Let me know what posts you plan to mount them on and I will provide the wires or screws needed.The front opens by removing a pin by hand to allow checking on the nest and cleaning. Construction is pine 2x4s frame, pine 1x4 door and plywood sides and roof.
I have over 30 years experience with these houses and will gladly share any advice on using them whether you buy a house or not. My carpenter skills are not perfect, but the houses are solid, very functional and the bluebirds, tree swallows and wrens like them.
I have 10 blue bird houses and two wren houses ready. More can be ready in a few days if needed. Only $10 each. Sorry, no discount for quantity.
The website, sialis.org, has a lot of good information about bluebirds. On average, bluebirds nest May 1st and their second nesting is July 1st. Tree swallows have only one nesting about May 7th. Wrens have two nestings starting about May 15th.
We are accepting all logs for free and $10 per load for brush (any size load). The dump site is very easy to access even for a 70 foot tractor trailer. Call anytime for more information or send me an email. We are open by appointment 7 days a week.
