Please join us at the annual Friends of the Heritage Library Ice Cream Social. The Friends will serve ice cream, floats, and other treats in the large library meeting room. The Ice Cream Social is a great way to meet Friends members and learn more about their mission, volunteer activities, and support of the library.
The Friends of the Heritage Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 2006 to support the library and the community financially and by volunteering in areas such as literacy efforts, homebound resident outreach and author events. The Friends sponsor an annual book sale in September; Lakeville's community wide read, One Book, One Lakeville in February; and many other offerings throughout the year. The Friends also hold member social gatherings such as trips to MN History Theater and Laughter Yoga.
