Hopping the Headwaters
We tried to do this camp last year but the state parks closed so let's go this year! Itasca State Park has 100 lakes, pine trees, copious wildlife, and the start of the Mississippi River. After a day of getting to know each other, planning, and preparation, we'll head off by van on Tuesday to camp. We will canoe, hike, animal watch, explore, and walk across the head waters of the mighty Mississippi right where it begins. Come learn about the history, geology, and wildlife that abound in Minnesota's oldest state park. We will return by 4pm Friday. Meal during trip, transportation, camping, and activity fees included. Limit 12 campers.
