Fun and Fantasy Await at Lakeville's World of Games

Historic Lakeville firehouse business brings computer gaming and collectible fans together

Are winter doldrums still getting you down? If you'd like to enter a world of fun and fantasy, just walk through the reddish-purple door of the historic firehouse building in downtown Lakeville. Whether you're looking for the latest video game or want to add to your comic book collection, the World of Games offers something for everyone. Rows of video games stock the shelves as you enter the store and the back room offers all sorts of action figures and the latest comic books.

"The collectible industry is a lot like the housing industry, from the standpoint of values go up and down," said Phil Bieber, World of Games owner. "Right now is a down time for a fair amount of stuff and I think now is a good time to jump in and see where things go.

Fans of early Atari and Nintendo games can enjoy playing on the gaming consoles at the front of the store.  World of Games keeps up with all the trends in the computer game industry in addition to providing computer repair services.
