• Rabbit Road north of Kasota to reopen July 25 (July 24, 2026) (einpresswire.com) — Drivers between Mankato and St. Peter should plan for continued Highway 22 closures and detours while MnDOT finishes a major reconstruction project through fall 2026. Rabbit Road north of Kasota reopens to local traffic July 25, but Highway 22 remains closed to through traffic, with drivers routed via Highways 14 and 169. The work will add safety upgrades, turn lanes, and prep for a future Mankato–St. Peter trail.
