Investigators say the attack doesn’t appear random and are asking residents near Pleasant View Drive, Northridge Drive, and surrounding neighborhoods to review surveillance footage for a silver 2021 Chevrolet Impala.
   

• MoonDogs wallop Willmar to win 2026 season opener (mankatofreepress.com) — Mankato baseball fans saw a dominant start to the MoonDogs’ 2026 season, with a 16-0 rout of the Willmar Stingers at ISG Field powered by big nights from Camden Bates and Liam Ebbs. Returning All-Star pitcher Sam Stockman threw six shutout innings, and the teams meet again Tuesday evening in Mankato for game two.
