16-Year-Old Killed In MN Crash After Semi Crosses Centerline
A 16-year-old boy was killed in rural Minnesota Thursday after a semi crossed the centerline on a highway and crashed into his vehicle.
OTTER TAIL COUNTY, MN — A 16-year-old boy was killed Thursday after a semi crossed the center line on a rural highway and crashed into his vehicle. The semi driver, Jason Rudolf Vadner, 34 of Wheaton, Minnesota was driving a Freightliner semi pulling a trailer westbound on Highway 210 and crossed over the centerline, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Vadner suffered non-life threatening injuries. However, Vadner's semi fatally struck the 16-year-old boy's 2005 Chevrolet Impala that was traveling eastbound on Highway 210 in Vining, Minnesota.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts. The Chevy Impala's airbag was deployed. Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, Vining Rescue, Henning Ambulance, Henning Fire Department, and Ringdahl Ambulance assisted in the crash.
