2 Dead In Head-On Crash In Northwest Metro: Police

CORCORAN, MN — Authorities say two people are dead after a head-on crash in the northwest metro early Thursday. Just before 7 a.m., the Corcoran Police Department was called to the scene on Highway 55 near the Medina border.

First responder conducted lifesaving efforts, but were unsuccessful. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway will remain closed for further investigation. Authorities are working to identify the drivers and notify their families.
