3 Ejected From Stolen Car After High-Speed Chase In Maple Grove: State Patrol

Video from Monday shows the aftermath of what authorities say was a high-speed chase involving a stolen Jeep that ended in Maple Grove.

MAPLE GROVE, MN — Three people were ejected from a stolen 2014 Jeep Wrangler Monday morning following a high-speed chase that ended on Interstate 494 in Maple Grove, according to the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP). Witnesses told authorities the Jeep passed several cars on the shoulder while speeding from Highway 25 to eastbound Interstate 94.

When troopers tried to stop the car, the driver fled, exiting onto I-494 via Bass Lake Road before the Jeep rolled, KSTP reported. Three of the four occupants were ejected from the car.

Two were transported to North Memorial Medical Center while the two others were cleared at the site of the crash, according to KMSP.

MSP is now investigating if the Jeep had been involved with any hit-and-run collisions.
