53 UFO Sightings In Minnesota In 2017: Get The Full List
On Feb. 28, a circle shape in the sky with white lights was reported above Apple Valley. Was it a spaceship or a casino's ad display?

TWIN CITIES, MN — On Feb. 28, a circle shape in the sky with 12 or 13 white lights was reported above Apple Valley. "It seemed to keep up with us from Apple Valley all the way onto the highway," the witness wrote. Was the sighting an alien spaceship visiting us from another planet, or was it the lights from a local casino's advertising display?
It’s probably the latter, according to the Seattle-based National UFO Reporting Center, or NUFORC, which runs a website that tracks reports of unexplained objects in the skies over Minnesota and the rest of the country.
So far this month, reports of brightly colored lights have been reported on the NUFORC website from Forest Lake, Savage, Vadnis Height and Lakeville.

UFO sightings have been common through the decades after the the first well-known report in 1947 of a UFO over Mount Rainier in Washington, that one reported by a businessman piloting a small plane who claimed to see nine high-speed, crescent-shaped objects zooming along at several thousand miles per hour “like saucers skipping on water.”
Though the objects Kenneth Arnold claimed to see weren’t saucer-shaped at all, his analogy led the popularization of the term “flying saucers.” And since then, Americans have been more or less obsessed with the idea that alien life is among us.
So far this year, there have been 58 UFO sightings in Minnesota. Here are some more from the Twin Cities.
Eagan, Feb. 10:
Bright light against sun, magnificent brightness and maneuverability through clouds, dim to dark and bright, two objects total. On hwy 13 westbound heading towards 77, I saw a bright light in the sky far away and high up in the west sky. It remained much brighter than an airplane and was against the sunlight. The light became very intense for about 1.5 seconds and went back to just bright.
I thought perhaps it was a meteorite entering the atmosphere but then the object seemed to maneuver around through the clouds (far distance away). The object stopped being bright for several seconds and looked simply dark.
There was another object near the first objects location, both moving around very quickly and far away from my location (possibly several miles), both identical in appearance but not in sync.
When the first object reached maximum brightness, my heart dropped, this looked like nothing ever seen before and its movements felt playful in nature, as it maneuvered through the clouds.
Plymouth, June 23:
I went to let the dogs out and noticed a glowing orange light flying over the trees. I called my husband and we watched it until it went to the other side of the horizon. We've never seen anything like it. Not a plane, helicopter or drone. Saw videos on You Tube that looked exactly like it. It fly effortlessly with sound.
Minneapolis, July 7:
4 slowly revolving white lights in the sky.4 slowly revolving lights just above the clouds, they could be seen in the clouds. The lights stayed in that area for at least 5 minutes. I went into my house to have others come out to see, and when I went back the lights were gone.
