Alcohol Involved In Crash That Killed 1-Year-Old: State Patrol
A Ford Explorer was driven off a bridge onto Interstate 94 early Sunday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
BROOKLYN CENTER, MN — Alcohol was involved in a single-car crash in Brooklyn Center that killed a 1-year-old early Sunday morning, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
Three other three children under the age of 10, and the driver, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to North Memorial Hospital.
Just before 2:30 a.m., a Ford Explorer going north on the Dupont Avenue bridge hit a barrier and flipped over the fence, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The Explorer fell down, landing on eastbound Interstate 94.

Conditions were dry at the time of the crash, authorities said.
The driver was booked at the Hennepin County Jail on criminal vehicular homicide just after 7 a.m. Sunday. He is being held on $1,000 bail.
