ORONO, MN — A classic Chevy truck, built in 1941, was destroyed Thursday night by a driver in the northwest metro who was allegedly drunk. Orono Police Department said there were no injuries in the crash. The owner of the classic truck, John Beise, shared photos on Facebook from the truck's 75th anniversary that took place last year.

Beise said the truck has been in his family since 1952, when his grandpa bought it. Beise has personally owned the truck for 30 years. "I know it is silly but it has been a part of our family for 65 years and has been extra special since my grandpa passed away a few years ago!" he posted.
