3. Hospital's "miracle baby" home after 334-day stay in neonatal intensive care unit (kimt.com) — After spending 334 days in North Memorial Health's neonatal intensive care unit in Maple Grove, a baby born at just 24 weeks is finally home and thriving. His parents and care team describe months of setbacks, infections, and uncertainty, but say faith, persistence, and dedicated local medical staff helped him reach a remarkable recovery milestone.
4. Providence Academy Honors 25th Anniversary of 9/11 (ccxmedia.org) — Maple Grove city leaders joined Providence Academy in nearby Plymouth for a large 9/11 anniversary tribute featuring 2,977 flags and a procession of Hennepin County first responder vehicles. Speakers, including state and local officials, emphasized unity, remembrance, and ongoing service, continuing a campus tradition that now draws participation from across the northwest metro.
