City Council Awards Bid for Chamber Audio Visual Project
The project will "overhaul" the audio visual system in the Maple Grove City Council Chambers.

The Maple Grove City Council awarded an audio visual project bid to Video Services at its Feb. 21 meeting.
According to a memo to the City Council, the audio visual project for an “audio visual system overhaul for its Council Chambers” includes equipments, installation of equipment and testing.

- High-definition PTZ cameras
- Camera controllers
- Broadcast/production switching
- Audio DSP
- Presentation video distribution including multi-image processing and rear projection
Installation of the equipment is estimated to begin April 17 and done before the May 7 City Council meeting.
Video Services, Inc. was the lowest of three bids received, coming in at $137,082.22. Funding for the project will come from a Northwest Cable Communications grant.
