Another worker — a 64-year-old from Maple Grove — survived the incident.

ROGERS, MN — Authorities say a construction worker was killed and another was injured Tuesday in a crash on Interstate 94 in the northwest metro. The crash occurred just after 2 p.m. on I-94 in Rogers.

A Ford F-150 with a trailer was traveling eastbound on I-94 approaching County Road 81 in Rogers. A Kenworth truck, also eastbound, was traveling behind it.

Authorities say when the Ford F-150 slowed for traffic, it was rear-ended by the Kenworth truck.
