Other facts
As a native Minnesotan and a long time resident of the Maple Grove/Osseo area, I am proud of our state and our community.
However, seeing our state lgislature hamstrung by gridlock and mired in partisan infighting strikes at the core of that pride. In fact, I am profoundly disturbed by the legislature's less than fiscally sound choices, shut downs and short cuts. Historically, our state leaders have been known for being able to have a conversation with anyone and develop a common sense solution to any problem. Sadly, that is no longer the case and not the direction I see us heading back towards. Minnesota's future depends on real people getting back to having meaningful conversations about real issues.
I am running to provide an open office where anyone and everyone can come to have the important conversations necessary to ensure Minnesota's future. I intend to provide the forum needed to end partisan gridlock, develop real solutions not short term gimmicks, and apply my service to serving the people - not the political party.
