Deductive Chiropractic

In the vast world of chiropractic, there are many different rhymes and reasons for what each individual chiropractor does. Most chiropractors come to their own conclusions through thinking deductively.  If you do not know what this is exactly, I will explain.  Deductive thinking takes general ideas or truths and mapping them together until there is no further conclusion to be deduced.  For example, an apple is a fruit, all fruits grow on trees, than apples must grow on trees.  This seems very simple, but most people don’t actually think this way.  They think inductively, which is based on observation and experimentation on a small, measurable part of something to make conclusions on a larger scale.  For example, if I flip a coin 5 times and it lands once heads up and four times tails side up.  Than I conclude, that if I flip the coin 10 times it will come up heads twice and tails eight times.  Since there are two sides to the coin, statistically this isn't going to be most projected outcome.

When it comes to chiropractic, inductive reasoning can sometimes mislead us into half truth or only display part of the potential of chiropractic.  By deductively reasoning out the full scale of chiropractic, we come to learn that it’s potential is virtually limitless.  So lets think this idea out deductively.

We know stress causes subluxations which interfere with the nervous system and cause the body to receive and transmit less information. We can then conclude from this truth that the body is functioning less than 100%.   This seems pretty simple, but lets take this even further.  If our bodies are functioning less than 100%, the body cannot do what it was designed to do. It is expressing less innate intelligence, as us chiropractors would say, and if we have less innate intelligence, then we have less life.

So, deductively we have just broken down that if you have stress, you must see a chiropractor to adjust the subluxations to improve our bodies ability to maintain proper function and increase your life.
