Drunk Birds In Minnesota Town Will 'Sober Up' Soon: Police
The birds have been getting "tipsy" from berries in the area, police said.

GILBERT, MN — Police in a small Minnesota town are telling residents not to worry about the local population of drunk birds because they will "sober up" soon. The Gilbert Police Department has received several reports of birds that appear to be "under the influence."
Their reported behavior includes flying into windows, cars, and generally acting confused.
Police said the birds have been getting "tipsy" from berries in the area that fermented earlier than usual, due to an early frost. The livers of the young birds, in particular, cannot handle toxins efficiently.
