The Independence Party of Minnesota's Third Congressional District is hosting its fall picnic with 2010 gubernatorial candidate Tom Horner at Bush Lake Park in Bloomington.
Local IP officers, supporters and candidates will mingle with citizens, enjoy hot dogs and drinks and talk about the state of Minnesota politics. There will be a short program at 1:00 to remember the events of Sept. 11, 2001.
