Hello all, as my first post I thought I'd introduce myself a little. My name is David Nelson and I've been a Maple Grove resident my whole life. Writing is what I do best and there's nothing better than writing about something you enjoy. One of my favorite entertainment mediums is gaming, the subject of this blog. I cover all facets of gaming from the politics to the gameplay, the reviews to the editorials, the inflammatory violence to the artistically brilliant narratives.
At 31 I am currently back in college at the University of Minnesota to finish my B.A. in English. I currently write for two online gaming magazines. Psxextreme.com has been covering Playstation news for over 10 years and OnlySP.com is a site dedicated to single player fans during this boom of multiplayer-centric gaming.
I'm constantly jacked into the industry and always ready with insights and predictions that have earned me a certain amount of respect from my readers and colleagues.
I've been gaming since I can remember being alive and while I have my own opinions, likes, and dislikes, I pride myself on my ability to stay objective and not descend into some of the less professional sides of this industry.
I hope some folks both local and non-local are interested in some of the thoughts I will be putting down here.
